Accessibility

We want our website to work for everyone. Which is why it’s been built to meet the standards set out in the W3C website design guidelines.

It’s important that our website works for everyone. Which is why it’s been built to meet the minimum criteria of the W3C website design guidelines. Working with our digital team and external web agency, we continually make improvements to meet these guidelines.

To help ensure every visitor has the best possible experience, we’ve designed our website with these accessibility guidelines in mind:

  • Pages can be viewed at a screen resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels and above
  • Page structure is conveyed using header elements.
  • The website uses a stylesheet and relative font sizes for text where possible.
  • Text can be increased or decreased in size using the ‘view’ option in your browser.
  • Images containing important information include alternative text describing their content.
  • No information is conveyed using colour alone.
  • A site map is available to help users understand the structure of the website.

If you have any comments or suggestions on how we can improve accessibility, please get in touch.
